Not sure what makes it a Sports Bar apart from the poor beer range, a couple of signed football shirts on the walls (nice to see a Reading FC shirt alongside England and France ones), oh, and lots of tellys everywhere. A town-style snazzy chain pub to watch sport in. But it's a long thin place that doesn't exactly lend itself to watching the footy unless there's only four people in there. Still, those working behind the bar have good uniforms. G.
Well mentioned on the layout front Gray, it is entirely the wrong shape for big screen footie watching, although it has some screens in there. We did doubt the authenticity of the France and England signed shirts which I think is fair but if anyone from the bar reads this please put us straight if they are real! Oh yes, the glass collectors uniforms were good (code for short skirts).
It's a nicely fitted out bar in general but I can't really think of a reason for going there if your'e not going to watch a game and if you are like everyone else in the bar when we were there, you will be leaving the very second the game finishes. S.

BEER EXPERIENCE |
What beer? Three "beers" on draught - Guinness, John Smiths and Budweiser. But the Bud was off anyway, brining it down to a total of two on tap, and John Smiths wasn't much to get excited about now was it? So then, time for lots of poncy over-priced bottles. But it's a Sports Bar so that's ok? Hmmm... G.
I don't think Graham enjoyed the beer selection did he. The effort for the beers on tap was useless though but it made me drink a few bottles of Corona and call me poncy, but I like a bit of lime shoved into the top of my bottle of beer! Yummy! I'm being serious by the way. S.
You girl! I'll have a pint and better make it a lager and lime for the lady. G.

"Strange place to say the least. Rumoured to have some nice Lithuanian 'totty' behind the bar - not sure if one of them was male or female! Beer - what there was - was very overpriced... mind you we'd just left the Three Guineas. Stayed for one drink only, then off to Wetherspoons - even cheaper by miles. Not on the agenda for a re-visit! And we lost the football!"
