Another pub that seems to get bad press. The place was well done out, the seats were plush, the service was acceptable, and there was a mix of people that gave it a friendly enough atmosphere. The place is massive, so there would always be your own bit of pub to hang out in anyway. G.
Sure is big in here. Goes on forever and had a full on pool and darts area so I assume they have a couple of decent pub teams for these. I know this place had a 'make over' a coupleof years ago or there abouts and it's still looking very pleasant inside.
It wasn't exactly packed when we were in but it was busy enough to have an atmos and a welcoming one at that. Another good local pub it seems and there is no reason you would not want to come here if it was your local. S.

BEER EXPERIENCE |
A massive range of drinks if I remember rightly. From memory it was something like 5 lagers, 5 beers, and 2 ciders plus Guinness variations. I think we had 6X but I'm sure as it was getting late and the evening was taking it's toll (all that extra beer with the curry I should add) Stevie will set me right I hope. However, I do remember that they had Fullers London Pride too. There was actually a selection of wine as well. Good effort all round on the beverages. G.
They certainly do well on the beer review. Loads of different beverages on the go and we did indeed have 6X here. I'm not sure how many real ales or such like they had but you'd have to be very picky to not find something that tickled your fancy. S.

"This pub is my local its full of friendly people and excellent staff the landlords/lady are always welcoming you get a hugh mixture of people from all ages some of its appeal is its size it is huge and has 2 full size pool tables and 3 dart boards along with a mixture of game/fruit machines. The beer is varied and I have never had a bad pint. Children are welcome during the day and over 12's in the evenings. The Pond House has Pool, Darts, Billiards & Crib teams. If you fancy a quick drink in a good atmosphere try it out. In the last 3/4 years it has shed its reputation for trouble and considering I drink there 2-3 times a week I have never seen any hassle whatsoever, give it a go"
