Lots of lovely jugs everywhere. Toby jugs that is, still you can't have it all. Unfortunately they put your beer in a normal pint glass. I was suprised with this place, expecting it really to be just an restaurant. Although there's a large dedicated food area, a good chunk of the building is laid out just like a standard pub. There's a few sofas, standard pub seating and some saucy seaside postcards in poster format on the walls. Oh, and a big cheesy photo of Phil Collins - what's that about then? G.
Yet you still only scored it 2.5. That's a bit harsh even taking into account the fact that no pub should ever have a picture of Phil on the wall! It was a nice place and the sofa we found was very comfy, at least it looked very comfy as yet again G & M stole the sofa (not literally you understand - they wouldn't be able to lift it on their own) and I was left with the far less comfortable chair. Although I did comment on the fact I felt like I was sitting on a poor mans throne (it didn't have elaborate carvings on it or anything fancy) which I did quite enjoy!
Anyway, this is a well set out pub, a couple of little areas to make it interesting and not just one big open space. It was much better than I was expecting and was much better than something similar, e.g. the pub attached to the Beefeater. S.

BEER EXPERIENCE |
The usual set of common draught beer and lager - plus an added treat of Fullers London Pride. Always a nice pint. G.
No other beers on though I don't think was there G? The Pride was nice so at least we had that and not just a token Johnny or Worthingtons. S.
